On May 20, 2025, I was booked for the second consecutive year to DJ at Snapdragon’s Ignite the Night – A VIP Celebration, held during Computex, this time at Seasons by Olivier E at W Taipei.
The event brought together Snapdragon representatives, industry professionals and invited guests for an evening of networking in a relaxed, contemporary setting. With the venue transformed through Snapdragon’s distinctive branding and vibrant lighting, the music needed to complement the atmosphere while allowing conversations to remain the focus.
I began the reception with upbeat lounge music, creating a polished background for guest arrivals and networking. As the evening progressed, the set gradually became more energetic, moving into house music and modern remixes of familiar retro tracks while maintaining the sophisticated tone of the event.
Collaborating with the team at Envy Create for a second year was especially rewarding and provided another opportunity to support an internationally recognized technology brand during one of Taipei’s most important business and technology events.
Corporate receptions require music that can adapt throughout the evening. The soundtrack must support the event rather than compete with it, while still creating energy, reinforcing the atmosphere and responding to the flow of the guests. For this event, the progression from upbeat lounge into house and retro remixes helped the reception develop naturally as the evening continued.
Thank you to Envy Create for inviting me back and for another excellent collaboration at W Taipei.
